Full Version: Virus in Attachment - What Can I Do, Please?

Hey kavin,

Yeah, I did that, and found no viruses - great way for me to pick it up tho'!

The issue is now spreading to other members - so it's getting to be a bit of a nuisance.
So this virus affects other members but not you? Link to said virus?

Why not ask the infected visitors about which attachments they have downloaded before they get infected. Though they might have downloaded many, you can shortlist it based on the similarity and based on that Damn user who uploaded it.

Also look for the fact that the attachment is probably zipped since .exe can't be attached directly.
The virus is also affecting me.

I'm going to run another check and see what comes up.

fwiw - I am now getting a malware warning screen prior to entering the site.
Ask you host to install ClamAV if they don't already and run it on your directory.
