Problem no 2 : Internal Server Error

i have deleted .htaccess file and also in Server and Optimization Options ,Enable search engine friendly URLs? = disabled from admin panel

but still getting error



The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Internal server error
it is happening with only admin login or users registered before upgrading (yesterday 06.08.10)

i try to register with new id and post it works fine.

is there any sql tables causing this problems

Is there a .htaccess in the admin folder...?? This is a very generic error, see if there's anything in your error logs.

I've merged two of your threads as they were both about internal server errors.

i didn't find any .htaccess file in admin folder

Try clearing your cookies and cache, and enabling the "Send No Cache Headers" setting in ACP. It sounds to me like those users are trying to pull up a page that's been cached and could be causing an issue.

"Send No Cache Headers" setting in ACP -it has been already set on yes...

It sounds like not all of your files got uploaded properly. I would re-upload all files except for the settings.php and config.php. Sometimes ftp clients just fail.

i have already upgraded to 1.6 should i do again the up gradation process

I wouldn't do the whole upgrade. I would just re-upload your files.

Does the host do clustered hosting?
