I tried to upgrade my 1.4.13...to 1.6.0

I uploaded all the files and folders from 1.6 overwriting the existing copies..
I CHMOD the following. CHMOD files to 666 and directories to 777:

1. ./inc/settings.php
2. ./inc/config.php
3. ./uploads/
4. ./uploads/avatars/
5. ./inc/languages (1.2 and later)
6. ./admin/backups (1.2 and later)
7. ./cache (1.4 and later)
8. ./cache/themes (1.4 and later)

And ....after that i see "500 error". why???

See if there's anything in your error logs.

i found something like SoftException in Application.cpp:256:

but..whatever, i installed a new 1.4.13 only to test the upgrade (because i have an old forum and i don't want to lose my data)..maybe thats the reason.
I'm unsure about upgrading to 1.4.13 to 1.6...

Was that all there was?? That doesn't seem to be related to MyBB. Upgrading itself works fine, numerous people have done it without problems.
