Should I install a theme first then mods or mods first then themes?

Any file edits need to take place if I install mods first then a theme?

Install your themes first as template edits won't be added to newly installed themes and you'll have to make manual edits or deactivate and activate plugins again.

It's usually best to do your theme first if your plugin does a find and replace to add template hooks. Otherwise you can just reactivate your plugins after you add your theme if you have problems.
