Dear, I want my forum to migrate 1.4.13 to 1.6.
I have the forum working well, but I want to upgrade to 1.6. The forum is a series of plugins, themes installed which do not want to keep any information related thereto.

I just want to keep is:
- Members.
- Forums.
- Threads & posts.
- User Groups.
- Privileges of different forums.

Finally, I would support only the original tables in general, without changes in the structure thereof.

How to migrate a new version?.

The wiki doesn't ask you to delete anything ...

Just follow the instructions on that page to upgrade. Make sure you take a Database backup and deactive all your plugins.

The information in the plugins, tables generated by plugins.
Information themes.

You have to disable your plugins, before upgrading. The themes will work, without a problem, just need to update the compatibility version

i didn't de-activate my plugin but the upgrade worked fine... only thing is some plugins are incompatible even after changing their compatibility to 16*
