Hi

I have MyBB hosted free
I was trying to test the sending of activation mail after the users registration,but i havent receive any mails from my Board.
I have check Spam folders - no emails yet.

I checked my hosting email settings and found this:

POP3 user name -----
POP3 password -----
POP3 host name -----mail.webfreehosting.net
POP3 port 110
SMTP server Disabled - paid service
PHP Sendmail Enabled

I noticed that the smtp server is disabled.
I would like to know if there are any solutions to this problem
or
I should get a Paid hosting account.

A paid hosting account comes with a lot more benefits, however if you switch your mail settings to PHP mail, that should work OK.

Yes but because its a new board I temporarily hosted it with free hosting.

I forgot to tell that i used PHPmail on the mail settings.
but no activation sent.

Yes I tried it.
it says "message was sent via php"

is there something wrong with my hosting?

Any of you tried this freehosting service with myBB?
