Hey guys,

Can you guys tell me if these settings are ok or should I change them?

If I need to change them can you tell me how?

Since I loaded 1.6 I have had some problems getting some plugins to work.
Would these settings have anything to do with that?

They should all be writeable (644) as far as i know. But it actually tells you to chmod them to 777

Does all of yours say they are writable?

I figured out how to change them and I changed them to 777 (I hope that is correct)

Anyway, once I did that the few plugins that did not work are now working

No problem

settings.php only needs to be 666 and config.php can be 644 once you've installed.
