How long will MyBB 1.4 receive security updates for?

Well, MyBB 1.4 will be supported for the next 6 months, so I assume at least that.

I'm part of the "If it isn't broke, don't fix it" group of people and I will continue to use MyBB 1.4 until it no longer receives security updates.

Around 6 months as already said

I have registered forum today, but v 1.4 is instaled (by default).Shouldnt be instaled v1.6 by default?
