ok, got a new router and dont want to waste the old one. Im trying to setup wireless network sharing.

Router 1 (MAIN): Belkin F5D8636.
Router 2 (CLIENT): Netgear DG834G v5

Basically it would be simple, but the belkin I've got doesnt support WDS.....

Is there any other way? Basically the only phone line I have in my house is upstairs. And I am moving a desktop and xbox360 downstairs. So I need to be able to:

Internet -> Router 1 -> Router 2-> Desktop & XBOX

Any ideas?
You could try flashing the Beklin and find some free firmware that supports WDS.
DD-WRT?
Is WDS a software of hardware thing?

Its kinda getting annoying now. I have read somewhere that if ONLY the client has WDS it can work to. I just cant get the netgear to connect.

The problem is that the netgear and belking are on different IP ranges (belkin = 192.168.2.x and netgear = 192.168.0.x) So when i turn of DHCP in the netgear and assign it a static IP of 192.168.2.101 (outside of the DHCP IP ranges of the belkin (which runs 192.168.2.1 to 192.168.2.100)) i cant login to the netgear anymore Confused
