Full Version: upgrade destroyed my forum!

when trying to upgrade i got a 500 error, i installed my backup to get my old forum back and now i still get a 500 error, i can provide FTP access if someone will just help me Sad
Nothing we can do about 500 error's, contact your host.

can someone from the SUPPORT TEAM please help me, i am desperate.
For the time being you should you have a backup and use that until you can sort it out with your host.

hi, 500 error's are not caused by mybb.. its due to the host you are running in. So, as he said, mybb support team an do nothing about it !
Garra is correct. This is not an issue with MyBB, this is an issue with your host and/or your site configuration (site config, not mybb config)

If you place a simple index.html that says "It Works" into your root directory of your website can you visit it like this?

http://www.your_url.com/index.html

That should drop a 500 error also, just to show you that it isn't MyBB.
