MyBB Community Forums

Hello... I'm using MyBB for the past 2 years and happy with its functionality... Just a little problem.. Nowdays a lot of people are using my forum to post ads about their products and many of them are Viagra sellers and porn sites...

Now I'm looking for a solution like in Wordpress Comments.. we can see and approve the posts and threads before they appear in the forum...

Any Mods/ Plugins for that ? any suggestions ??

You can activate Akismet (plugin which is included in MyBB by default) or use StopForumSpam plugin. (Just search for it in the mods site.)

You can also give http://mods.mybb.com/view/fassim-anitspam a try.

I would suggest using the SFS (StopForumSpam) modification, along with Akismet, which will give you a hard line of defense against them
