when running the upgrade i have encountered an error

"Data Cache Building

Fatal error: [SQL] [1054] Unknown column 'm.isgroup' in 'where clause'
SELECT m.*, u.username, u.usergroup, u.displaygroup FROM mybb_moderators m LEFT JOIN mybb_users u ON (m.id=u.uid) WHERE m.isgroup = '0' ORDER BY u.username in /home/rabbitr1/public_html/inc/db_mysqli.php on line 557"

basically... how do i fix this lol, do i just try running the upgrade again or what?

Not seen this error before. Can't really give any advice.

What version were you upgrading from? m.isgroup is a 1.6 field anyway....

We were upgrading from version 1.4, should we just try the upgrade again?

the latest version of 1.4

Try again and make sure to select the right version to upgrade from.

Yes probably best but if you have a backup of your 1.4 database I'd recommend you copy that to a new db and upgrade the new database just to make sure everything's safe. I've never seen this problem before...

i have tried running the install again and it just gives the same error

What SQL and PHP version are you running?

also on the Settings Synchronisation bit right before the one it errors on it says

The board settings have been synchronised with the latest in MyBB.

0 new settings inserted along with 0 new setting groups.
