Hey guys,
I just started a new forum and had myBB 1.6 installed. Now I have an error when I try to access sub-forums or even look at members profiles i get an error like "Not Found
The requested URL public_html/member.php was not found on this server."
and also the same for "forumdisplay.php"

Does anyone know how to fix this error?

Edit: also the files do exist as I checked on the ftp.

Rename your htaccess.txt file to .htaccess or disable the Search Engine Friendly URLs in the Server and Optimization settings in the ACP.
