So in the process of making a new multiforum script

Question.

For multiple mybb installations for different subs the cookie prefix for the each should NOT start with a dot right

eg. forum1.coolhost.com <-- cookie domain forum1.coolhost.com no dot before the forum1 part

If it is exclusively for forum.coolhost.com, then yes there wouldnt be a dot before it.
