I tried a search, and went through the FAQ, and could not find anything specific to this issue.

What we have been seeing happening is this.

A new member will register, become approved, logout, log back in, and when they log back in the wrong user name appears at the top of the screen.
One particular user had the wrong name showing, logged out and back in, and a different wrong name would show.

Any help that eliminates this problem will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

At the moment, yes they are.
I will reopen them now, but to be clear, the issue I describe happened before the forum was closed.
It was only closed to keep posting under control while we added content.
Test account?

There is no specific "test account".
This issue has been seen by most of our members, most notably right after they create thier accounts.

You are welcome to create an account to see if this issue happens to you as well. I can/will authorize it without the email verification.

We are not going to register on your forums just to fix an issue. Just provide a test account for us to use.

Well, lets recap.

The problem shows up when someone creates a new account.
So it seems logical that the BEST way to test that, would be create a new account.

As well, if this were a PM discussion with a support specialist or admin, I would be willing to setup a "test account" as you put it.

But creating an account and posting the login and password in a public forum is not going to happen.

If for no other reason than, we are new to myBB, and are currently in evaluation mode, and will decide based on our experience whether or not to make myBB our permanant forum.
We dont know the community, or who is who around here. But we are by no means noobs either.

Yes we would like assistance, but are not willing to take foolish risks to get it.
It's fine for me... you can't get logged in as somebody else, you've no way of getting the loginkey for anybody else.
