I have setup my forum so that the forum-17 can only be posted to by certain user groups. When a new user joins my forum, they would NOT be part of this user group. I setup a promotion so that the user must post at least 3 times in order to join a user group that can post to forum-17.

Yet in the link above, the user visionthing was somehow able to post to my forum, despite having only 1 post.

I'm wondering if the post count is wrong.

I have tried to run the updater for post counts, but it never seems to run and seems to time out.

Can one of the devs of MyBB perhaps PM and I will give admin access?

has the user deleted posts or a mod deleted their posts or moved them to a forum that does not count posts?

Is joining to those user groups requires moderator approval?

If no chances are there as pavemen mentioned.
