My board is currently set to "Send Email Verification" but it seems like some users still show up under "Awaiting Activation" whereas some users get activated independently... What causes this inconsistency?

The ones who shoe under "Awaiting Activation" - does this mean they have simply not gone to their email and activated their account?

They should check they Inbox or Junk and Activate they account Smile

It wouldn't pick and choose what happens to them when they register, maybe they just activate very quickly. If it says they're still awaiting activation then yes, they've not activated their account.
