Hi, I made this quickly for you. Please let me know if you want it changed. Download below, make sure the name is thead_bg and upload it to your theme's folder.

What theme are you using? Are you sure it's looking for thead_bg.gif and not some other file like thead.png?

Right, your theme is a bit different, it uses some more images to make the rounded corners, and even if you overwrite cat.gif (which is what you should rename the image I gave you to), the edges will be in another colour. You should have mentioned that in the first post.

Ask the author if he can provide you with a psd so it's easier for me to edit.
