hi all...
what i mast to do .. i will start to change me forum from 1.4.14 TO 1.6

1- i mast to check me language packets ..
2- backup all forum (database+fills)
3-offline forum and deactivate all plug-in
4-re-upload new fills (mybb1.6)
5-start install new version .

is those steps OK ?? or what i mast to do ?

and what about plug-in ? every thing work on 1.6 ? if i change the TEXT 1.4 to 1.6 ?

No, there may be incompatible plugins so you should make sure that those plugins have a 1.6 version if you want to keep them

Don't run the installer, run the upgrader. ( yourdomain.com/forumfolder/install/upgrade.php )

A lot of plugins will work just by changing the compatibility but not all.

can i face with the Temple problem ? or it's ok with my Templets ?

You'll need to revert your templates to default for the new features of MyBB 1.6 to be visable on your forum. The best thing to do is use a theme designed for 1.6

Go to: ACP >> Templates & Style >> Templates >> Find Updated Templates >> Options >> Revert to Original

Do that for all the templates it brings up.

Or just use a theme designed for 1.6 - http://mods.mybboard.net/themes
