I completed all the steps for installation and created my first topic for the forum. However, when I click on "View Forum" or type in the URL - http://www.oceanclubowners.com/ the page does not load and the status says "Done." What am I missing?

If you have an index.html in your root folder - delete it.

That worked. Thanks! However, now it says the site is under development. Why doesn't it show my forum?

What other HTML files are in the root folder there?

Have you renamed htaccess.txt to .htaccess

I renamed htaccess.txt to .htaccess. No change

I have a home.html file in the root directory.

I'm puzzled. Is there a switch or something in the configuration panel that I missed It did see Board Setting (Open/Closed) with a yes or no. It is set to "No." Is there something else that you turn on once you have your forum set up to open it for public viewing?

Delete that home.html

There's nothing else to turn on, it's just that your host has left random files in the root directory.
