Fatal error: Call to undefined method DB_MySQLi::add_column() in /public/sites/www.forum.alpaca-ranch.nl/forum/install/resources/upgrade17.php on line 151

Colby send be back to http://community.mybb.com/thread-75028.html
I have seen that notice. But the install map is new. What do I have to change? I still do not understand. Where can I find more information for this problem?

Gert
Have you ensured you've uploaded all the 1.6 files?

It must be everything. I did upload the "upload" map and a dutch language pack. Did it once more but still the same problem.

Gert
Some maps stay at the old date, but the files in the maps are with the new date.
At the page http://community.mybb.com/thread-75028.html stand:
"Fatal error: Call to undefined method DB_MySQLi::add_column()
Make sure you've uploaded all the new files properly, so they have overwritten the old files. This method was added to the database abstraction layers in the update, so if it can't be found, you still have the old files without it."

What does the last sentence mean? (sorry, English is not my first language)

Gert
Hi sir,

Please do not open to threads, instead send me a PM or open a thread in questions forums, anyways.

You mustn't be overwriting the files correctly, if you where, you wouldn't have this issue.
Is your administrator panel (directory) "Admin"?

If not, then you must rename the Admin directory downloaded in the MyBB 1.6x files to whatever your Admin directory in /root is, then upload.

Or, you can just upload the content of the MyBB 1.6x admin directory into your /root/admin directory.
Nothing to do with the admin folder, it's files in the ./inc/ folder that haven't been updated properly.
