I'll try to explain this as accurately as possible.

As you can see, my forum has the Apart theme, which displays a white background...HOWEVER, the white is not the true background of the theme. The true background can be seen under the skyscraper ads on both sides of the page. I want to know if there is a way to make the white display disappear so the true background is prominent. If so, how?

If this is not possible, I would like to know how to make the background visible on both sides of the page as it is now but without ads. (Currently, the only reason the background is visible is because the ads are pushing the white out of the way.)

Admin CP --> Templates & Style --> flame --> global.css

find #content and remove the line that says "background: #fff"

Didn't work, the white's still there.

try changing it to "background: transparent;"

That did not work either...

Do I have to purge the cache or something?
