I'm curious, can Mybb take down any Mybb site for any reason?

No, I don't think so.
Why the question?

Just curious because i know stuff like Zetaboards can (then again they arnt like Mybb) and this could help with boards violating the TOS.

Zetaboards can because they host your site, and if you violate their TOS they can proceed deleting your forum. MyBB is different because you install your forum in a hosting of your choise. So The hosting can Take down your site but MyBB never.
