hello, I want to know if I enable hotlink protection, do attatched images also get hotlink protected?
As they don't have .jpg or .gif with their tail

Chances are it might work but it depends how your server enforces the hotlink protection.

As polar said this doesn't relate to mybb but hotlink protection settings on your forum. You if you protect the whole site/domain yes, if it's just set directories it would depend if you included the attachments directory in that selection.
