I've searched the forum and can't find this error anywhere :| if there is an existing post someone knows of please direct me. Thanks.

The error the members of my forum are getting is that when they log in it marks a bunch of forums as if they have new posts when they havn't been posted in for months.

Even when they Mark all posts as read the thing comes back.

Any suggestions?

It's because the session is being dropped from the database. Try putting the Database Mark Read number up higher.

In ACP --> Config --> Show Thread Options --> Read Threads in Database (Days).

Oh thanks , will 15 work? I have it at 7 right now whats the highest I should put it to?

It's up to you what you set it to. If you try 14 days (2 weeks) to see how that works out and if it fixes your problem then good If not then set it higher
