I get this message when assigning moderators on both my forums now

MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
1054 - Unknown column 'm.uid' in 'field list'
Query:
SELECT m.mid, m.uid, u.username FROM mybb_moderators m LEFT JOIN mybb_users u ON (m.uid=u.uid) WHERE fid='29

That column doesn't exist in 1.6, make sure all your files are 1.6 files and that you've not got any plugins that aren't 1.6 compatible.

I disabled all old plugins, do i need to literally FTP them out?

If they're all deactivated it won't be a plugin.

Make sure all the 1.6 files have been uploaded properly so they overwrite the old files.

Okay. Well if i was to download 1.6 and start over would it affect anything? Would it possibly fix it?
