Upgrading from 1.4.11 to Current Version.
Do I need to Update from 12 to the next to the next or what needs to be done?

You can just upgrade straight to 1.6

You can go straight to 1.6.

Backup database and files, deactivate all plugins, upload 1.6 files so they overwrite 1.4 files, go to yoursite.com/install/upgrade.php and choose 1.4.11 from the list. Your theme will need updating to a 1.6 theme afterwards.

great thanks, for all the replies , My themes will be like uhhh, not working ? what do i need to do to follow up on that, just update to a following theme that is a 1.6 or see if mine has been updated? is there a place to see the 1.6 themes and the updated ones from 1.4 or just go search.\sorry been awhile . was supposed to be 90 days and somehow turned into a year, and then been awhile longer for me to get back into the swing of things.

love the new look and feel of 1.6 gold. very nice.

You can keep the same them but you'll need to revert the templates to original or edit them to include the new 1.6 code after upgrading. Or you can just use a 1.6 theme.
