Hi all,
I am new to myBB and I am trying to get handle on the theme / template concept.

I need to create a custom theme and alter some templates.

So I create a new theme in the ACP, and now I am not sure if I should alter existing templates, because it looks like my theme inherits templates from the default theme... or what. Should I create new templates with the same names as the ones I need to alter, and they will override the existing templates, or how does that work?

If I create a new template set, where do I specify that those are used with my theme instead of the default templates?

i.e. how are themes and structured? The documentation I have found in the Wiki gives no information about how this should be done.

Create a new template set, then go to your new theme and there's an option to choose which template set the theme uses.
