Full Version: "soft deletes"

Is there a way to add soft deletes to your forum.

So if a moderator deletes a post, it says :post deleted by, reason:


No I don't think so sorry.
You can install the Undo Delete hack, might have to change the plugin compatibility to 16* so it works in 1.6. That's your best soft-delete option, or install the trash can mod.

I wouldn't edit core files, because when you update you loose the changes.

Two modifications, not a really big issue and work perfectly.
But why, if there are perfectly working plugins existing not forcing you to edit files Wink

There are no other soft delete plugins. There are plugins that can be used as a replacement to it but it's not a regular soft delete.
This problem is softed, we have added soft deletles onto the forums.

When mods delete a post, there will be a message explaining why it was deleted, and it can easily be undeleted.
