Nice Specs, but it's a Dell. I just have a personal thing against Dell's.

Why would they disable turbo? There would be absolutely no reason to put an i7 in there if they did so. I have an i7 in my asus and haven't had any issues regarding heat. Yes it will get warm but I only do my intense gaming over my cooler just be safe.
But, I can use intense programs in class and stuff without issues(where I don't have my cooler).

If you buy the laptop be sure to clean it often so the fan is always at it's max!
Most brands disable turbo because it's been known to make processors explode in the past....
Turbo Boost is also in the i5 series, by the way.
