There's no limit on how many links you can post, unless you're using a plugin.

OK so everytime I add more than 3 links I get:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /xmlhttp.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What the fudge? So the only work around was by merging posts... which worked.. but this is weird!

Ask your host why it's doing that, there's no reason why posting 3 links should cause this.
