A client has requested a second feed on the modified portal I did for him at his website.

The first feed is done using the announcement feature callling to all fid's with the exception of the private forums. I need to somehow create a second feed that will call to one specific fid and this will be for articles he writes in there.

What needs to be done:

• Impliment a 2nd feed with one fid being called.
  
• Max 200 character limit until it cuts off [...]
  
• in a floated right column

I'm sure this could be done with a simple RSS grabber. Using the RSS Syndicate MyBB function.

That URL brings up an RSS feed from fid 11 and with a thread limit of 15. Then you could just put that in the sidebar and do a limiter on the characters.
