For some reason that doesn't happen on my IE8, only in the IE Tab for Firefox, and it bugs the crap out of me because for some reason IE thinks that the middle cell is non-existent and I can't think of how to stop that.

Why? Why is this happening to me? W3C says it's valid HTML. I've got both width and max-width specified on the edges. This is making me sad. I've never had this problem before.
