I am getting an internal server error whenever I try to use quick edit on my friends forum. It also occurs when it tries to suggest names for private messages too. It began occurring one night after everyone was hyper, and it seems that one of the members typed
'''
into the shoutbox pirata had made. I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Upgrading the board has done nothing for me, not like merging the board.

Website url, and usernames will be made available to mybb support via pm. I don't really want to give the site url away on this website as it is a closed forum for a group of people.
Have you tried deleting that message from the shoutbox?
Check with your server error logs and with your host to see if you can track down what's actually causing it.
After searching the error log, and not finding anything. I went through cpanel and found an error log button. It appears there is somewhere else errors are getting logged on my server.

These are appearing.

Any ideas?

nvm, I fixed it. 0.o I read "is writable by group" and got a bad feeling bad permissions were on the file. I locked it up more and it seems to be fixed.

I find it strange it is bringing a c++ file into play. :p Weird. *wants to forget about C++ class with his greek teacher* 0.o
