We have a reCAPTCHA plugin which I'm sure is a lot better at doing its job that the one you linked too.

This captcha requires JavaScript / jQuery (which can conflict with other JS libraries) and a mouse, so it won't work everywhere. And even without looking at the code I can tell that it can be broken by bots easily; since at least in the demo you linked to, it is not possible to drag the wrong icon into the circle. So that means the code and therefore the machine knows which is the correct answer (or rather, there is only one answer possible). And even if it were coded properly, and the bot had to guess the correct answer, it would have a 1 out of 5 chance to be correct, which is not anywhere near good enough.
So the only hope for this captcha is that spammers won't bother to teach their bots to break it and nobody attacks your site specifically. Captcha wise that's about as effective as an input box "Are you human? Type YES." or similar such.

I agree.. So atleast a simple math or custom question captcha ?
