I just installed the latest version of mybb, but now im getting this error
MyBB has experienced an internal error and cannot continue.

MyBB Error (42)
Error Message:
Your board has not yet been upgraded. Please do so before attempting to browse it.
help please.
If it's a fresh install you shouldn't be getting that.
If you're upgrading, run the upgrade script at yoursite.com/install/upgrade.php
ok that worked and it was in process of upgrading but now it says this

Unable to open inc/config.php
Before the upgrade process can continue, you need to changes the permissions of inc/config.php so it is writable.
How do i do this?
You have to change the permissions of the file (CHMOD) to 666 using you FTP-client.

So now i just got to delete the upgrade.php file and its all finshed?
You probably don't need to delete anything, there should be a lock file created and if you go to your forum it should run fine. If that's not the case and it gives an error just delete the entire install folder.
Rok, go to cPanel, and go to the install folder. Delete the 'lock' file and it should work.
What's the install folder?
It's in public_html of your cPanel.
