that's not how saving works dude -- you save it for the inevitable event where you DO want something. spending money just because you can is not healthy.
$40 is not a lot of money. hang onto it until you need it.

That's what i would suggest too. If you desperately need to invest on something, invest on buying a forum and improve it.
