Hi, I have a webhost and cpanel... i downloaded mybb 1.6 and am uploading files (file's manager).
It's not uploading my files, it just says "Starting Installation" and has been saying that for over an hour now.

Nothing we can do about this at all, this is an issue with your host or your connection.

Sorry, I'm new to this. I now know there is nothing you can do... I will try a new webhost then.
You may want to learn about FTP as well. It's a lot easier and faster for most.
For a program I recommend Filezilla as it's free and works well.

I just want to ask, did you try going back to the root? Sometime this happens to me, the files upload but it shows it's still loading even though they got uploaded.
I suggest you just use FTP as Alex suggested. Otherwise you could try uploading it in archive form and extracting it on the server.
