I'm sure you guys can help me with this small issue so here it is. Making a backup via PhPMyadmin do I select my database, gfx_mybb? Or Information_schema? Or both?

information_schema is an empty table, so you can just ignore it.
All you need to backup is the database your forums are located in. If you use cPanel, you can backup via the Backups page.

@Gaara - information_schema isn't a table and it certainly isn't empty.

It contains a load of information that phpmyadmin uses such as char sets and engines.
