Where is the function that sets the time limit for your admin panel login to logout after a certain period of inactivity? I want to increase the time limit.

Oh! Good question but I think it's actually a hardcoded time for the cookie as I don't think I've ever seen in it my years of looking through the admin CP .

Yep, seems to be hardcoded (see ./admin/index.php @ Line 249):

// Admin CP sessions 2 hours old are expired
if($admin_session['lastactive'] < TIME_NOW-7200)
