Full Version: Change theme on the fly

I've been searching through the Wiki and forum, but I haven't really found the answer.

In vBulletin there's a way to use a var like ?theme={id} in the url to change the theme on the fly. Example:

http://www.myforum.com/index.php?t=2

Which would change the user's theme from whatever they have to theme id 2.

Is this functionality in MyBB?

Thanks!
There is a plugin for it, it is not built into MyBB.

Depending on what version of MyBB running you may or may not be able to use the plugin.
I'm on the latest 1.6 stable build.

I have to stipulate, I did find this:
http://mods.mybb.com/view/quick-theme-changer

While it does change the theme on the fly, it doesn't do it in a way I can make it into a URL.

Unless I missed something. heh.
I don't know of anything that does this sorry. It would probably be relatively easy to do as you'd just need to accept a get variable from the index and change the profile option. Though it would be harder to make it work for guests.
Thanks for your help. I will manage. Smile

Thanks again for your time.
