I searched the forums, I tried the stuff here:
http://wiki.mybb.com/index.php/Help:Blank_index

Lost. Toungue

My Admin panel works, I just can't see the forums. I've also deleted the install directory and CHMODed the files back to what they should be (config that is)...

MyBB Version 1.6.0
PHP Version 5.2.14
SQL Engine MySQLi 5.1.50
Server Load 4.12

I also loaded up the thing into my .htaccess so it spews out an error. Here's the link to me site (I took it out as it also messed up the admin thing working):
http://miltownklan.org/konnect/

See the admin works fine...

Appears to be something wrong with the .htaccess file. If you have any ideas throw them in here and I'll try them when I get back from eating pizza. Big Grin

I spent all day weighing the pros and cons of this vs. SMF and I felt like you guys won the cupcake. PROVE IT! Smile
You've got no templates, seems they didn't import in the install. If you've not added anything to your forum yet, reupload the install folder, double check ./install/resources/mybb_theme.xml, make sure it's uploaded properly and doesn't have a size of 0kb, and install again.

I'll add this to the Wiki. Thumbs up to you for looking at the Wiki too Smile Not enough people do.
That must be it! I remember that file having an issue while I was uploading for some reason. I'm not back home yet, but I bet that will solve it. Will post again upon success. Smile
SWEET! It worked! Yeah, I remember having some kind of problem uploading the mybb_theme.xml file, perhaps because of it's size. I ran into the same problem when I reuploaded the install folder, but after all of the other files finished uploading, I just reuploaded it again and made sure it was the right file size (it was smaller than it should have been originally).

I also ran into a problem with the "Theme Insertion" step the first time I ran the installation (I'm guessing because the file wasn't complete).

Thanks for catching that one!
