I like the default theme + the style I wish to convert to the new version of mybb

That will work without convertion and use the find template ool or somehthing like that.

tried to use it without converting it to be compatible with 1.6 and doesn't work

Eight months and you still need it? It took me like -1 month to learn HTML and CSS plus it is almost exactly the default theme with some colors modifications.

If this theme was so easy to convert why didn't one of you do it?
