It would be nice if all the links of the first page of threads to be the link of the thread itself.

See the example on forumdisplay.
The first page has a link like this: /showthread.php?tid=18
The second page has this link: /showthread.php?tid=18&page=2
[attachment=19997]

But on showthread, the pagination doesn't use the link "/showthread.php?tid=18" for the first page. Instead it uses "/showthread.php?tid=18&page=1"
[attachment=19998]

Bots when crawling the second page, it see the first page as unvisited and will crawl it under a new link.

I just use google seo plugin for better links

Google SEO's thread redirection should do it anyways, if you don't have it.

I don't want Google SEO plugin (at-least for now).

If its possible to improve core URLs, it would be cool and better.
