Hi. I'm using a new webhost for my forum, and once I'm done uploading, I go to install MyBB, and it gives me a 404 error.

/cgi-bin/php/index.php

So I put an index.php in /cgi-bin/php/index.php to test, and then I got an 500 error.

Don't upload to cgi-bin, upload to public_html.

I did. That's when it gave the me the 404 error. So then I tried uploading it to cgi-bin/php as well as public_html.

And cgi-bin is empty.

That's when I get a 404 error.

cgi-bin is meant to be empty, just delete that folder, you don't need it.

Then I get a 404 error.

Well, anyway, I put my forum back on a different host. Thanks for the help anyway...
