which is the themes folder from where theses are picked up.. i guess 2 are there

also can anybody tell difference between themes and graphics.. as on phpbb3 there was no such things

Theme is the style, and graphics is the images the theme displays.
Admin styles can be founded by going to this folder: ({mybb installation directory}/admin/styles/) and the overall theme must be uploaded from the admin control panel, but images must be uploaded to ({mybb installation directory}/images)

Templates are the actual HTML that create the layout of the forum. When you install a theme it comes with stylesheets and images to style the forum, and also usually comes with a template set to use, or it can use an existing template set.
An analogy: the templates are like the walls of a room (the structure) and the CSS/stylesheets/images are like the wallpaper (decoration).
