hi guys im just wondering if its possible to stop posts made in certain forums from showing up in the portal latest threads section?

Don't know of a way no. There may be a plugin but the only way to do this would be to use permissions to stop guests viewing them. Obviously you can't really stop registered users from seeing it that way.

its registered users we want to stop from seeing them lol, as we have the latest portal posts showing on the index of the forum at the side, but if we make a post in the staff area for example it shows up in the side, although they cant veiw the thread, you have to be careful what you name it lol
