I had to disable ratings as they were somehow creating problems with google search bots (linking to pages that didn't exist).
The same problem occured with the calendar, linking to pages that didn't exist.
In total, there were about 5000 bad links that the googlebot found. And I believe (although am not 100% sure) that this can have a negative effect for site visibility and PageRank on google.
