1)Added a rank bar for my account (admin) but when a page loads that has a post from me it asks for a password and if i hit cancle the image does not show up.

2)In the admin cp when i go to user and groups and click edit user. While the page is loading everything shows up but once the page loads the options under the user info disapears and i am unable to reset passwords etc..

1. What file path/URL did you put in for the image?? It'll bring up that box if you need a HTTP login to access that file.

2. There's tabs for each part, it loads it all first and then some things are hidden in tabs when the javascript loads.

IS the url i used for the image. And if i enter in the password that i set for myself as the admin the image shows up

No don't put an ftp:// address in Upload it to your file system and just put a relative file path in the setting...
