MyBB Community Forums - SOLVED: Upgrading from 1.4 to 1.6

I purchased this forum from a web design company and they want to charge me 100.00 to perform the upgrade. I don't want to mess it up since it get many visitors daily. I've downloaded the 1.6 from the mybb website. I'm lost at what I do next. Can anyone help me out? Thanks very much for your time.

when uploading....can you upload a whole folder or do you have to open it and upload each item one at a time?

5. CHMOD the following. CHMOD files to 666 (or 777, whatever suits your server) and directories to 777:

1. ./inc/settings.php
2. ./inc/config.php
3. ./uploads/
4. ./uploads/avatars/
5. ./inc/languages (1.2 and later)
6. ./admin/backups (1.2 and later)
7. ./cache (1.4 and later)
8. ./cache/themes (1.4 and later)

6. Go to www.yourdomain.com/forumfolder/install/upgrade.php

You cannot understand to CHMOD the files mentioned? Am I right what you are trying to say?

I figured out the chmod. I've went through every step and it still didn't work. I sent you a pm.
